Richard has been teaching and practising shiatsu since 1990, and is currently working from Napiers Clinic in Edinburgh, Scotland. Following a course at The Glasgow School of Shiatsu, Richard qualified as a Practitioner. Further study with some of shiatsu's top teachers (Pauline Sasaki, Wataru Ohashi and Akinobu Kishi) has helped him develop his own practice and teaching style. Richard's studies started with barefoot shiatsu before moving onto more traditional and zen styles. With more than fifteen years of teaching experience Richard has a positive, fun way of passing on the Way of Shiatsu. Other interests are singing, cycling and family.
