Fiona Blair Cert Exercise to Music, Cert Salsa Dance Club Style

Fiona has been teaching exercise and dance at various Scottish venues since 2000. She took her first salsa steps at the opening celebrations of the Scottish Parliament in 1999. Catching the bug, she learned the dance in local pubs and clubs before travelling extensively in Europe, and finally to New York to train with her favourite dancer and teacher, Frankie Martinez. Fiona loves the rhythms and body movements of mambo, also known as New York salsa. Her teaching involves a light-hearted approach designed to ensure participants have fun while learning, and enjoy their mistakes!
Some comments on Fiona’s work: - ‘Fiona's mambo class is a funky and energetic treat for beginners and experienced dancers alike. Her classes are non-stop fun, switching from solo shines, simple but impressive looking turn patterns, to Fiona's own mambo version of rueda (a Cuban circle dance kind of like a Latin Ceilidh)’. (Tim Smith – review on website of Dancebase, Edinburgh)
- ‘Fiona oozes so much energy and passion in her work. She has a great way of communicating with her class and her transition from one movement to another is always very well explained. The energy in her classes is always so positive, great fun, and relaxing, that you don't feel embarrassed if you've made a mistake. I find her so approachable and friendly and she is always willing to give extra tips after the class. She.. ends her classes in an absolute high and I always walk away with a feeling of wow!!!
